Comments Regarding Proposed Exemptions for Plant-Incorporated Protectants Derived from Plant Viral Coat Protein Genes

The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) is pleased to submit these comments in response to the supplemental proposals for plant-incorporated protectants derived from plant viral coat protein genes (PVCP-PIPs) and for plant virus coat proteins (PVC-proteins) that are part of a PIP, published by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or Agency) on April 18, 2007.</p>
