BIO offers a number of ways for conference attendees to save money on their registration fees. In addition to the early-bird rates, we are offering for the second year in a row, a rate for new biotech companies that have raised less than $25 million in capital plus a discounted package rate for presenting companies bringing three or more attendees.

This package includes a corporate presentation and three conference registrations. You may still select from the a la carte registration offerings, but companies wishing to present and to bring up to three attendees will save money with the new bundle option.
Research & Development Individual (Biotech and Pharma)
Corporations or other entities that use biotechnology or related technologies for research and development of products or information.
A pricing level has been created for “pre-emerging” biotech companies wishing to participate in the BIO Investor Forum. Seed and A-round companies incorporated after 2007 that have raised less than $25M total through October 2012 qualify for the discovery rate. They must be first-time presenters, and use biotechnology or related technologies for research and development of drug products or diagnostics. Final qualification is made by BIO.
Senior members of the academic technology licensing community and university department heads.
Corporations or other entities that provide services or products to companies. Service providers include investment and merchant bankers and representatives of law, accounting, consulting, real estate development, and economic development organizations.
Qualified institutional and venture investors whose primary activity is direct investment in research and development companies are eligible for complimentary registration. Equity research analysts from investment banking institutions also qualify as investors. All registrations are subject to verification of credentials.
For the purposes of registration for any BIO event, conference or meeting, the classification of a registrant as a research and development company, an industry service provider, an academic & technology licensing officer or a qualifying investor is subject to review by BIO. In its sole discretion, BIO reserves the right to make the determination of the proper classification of a registrant. Depending on this classification, an additional registration fee maybe required. BIO reserves the right to publish materials and restrict conference and/or partnering system access consistent with these determinations.
