The 12th Annual BIO Investor Forum assembles a select group of early and established private companies, as well as emerging public companies, to give company presentations throughout the event. The presentations feature over 110 biotech companies poised to join the growth “watch list” in 2013, as well as a number of nonprofit and venture philanthropy organizations.

Registration Instructions

Regardless of the package options listed below, all presenters must be issued codes in order to begin Registration. Those who have confirmed their presentation should email their package selection and number of attendees to Sondra at Further instruction will then be provided, but you can use the information below to help guide your choice.

  1. The Presenter Group Package is a bundled package that includes all presentation and registration fees for three people (within the presenting company).
  2. The Individual Registration option allows you to register your Presenter and pay your presentation fee. You should also choose this option if you need to register your presenter, and pay for an additional attendee.
  3. Discovery Companies must register and pay for each attendee and their presentation fee separately, due to the pricing discounts. Qualified companies can can find their pricing information here.

  • Presentation Skills Webinars: Learn more about the Presentation Skills webinars and consultation services that will be provided to presenting companies of the BIO Investor Forum!
  • Presenter Checklist: Important deadlines regarding your presentation and Partnering. Download the checklist to ensure all items are completed!
  • Presentation Details & Guidelines: Read all the logistics to ensure your presentation goes smoothly.
  • Investor Kits: All investor kits/company literature will need to be sent to BIO's offices, and not the Palace Hotel. Please email to notify us that you will be sending materials. You will then receive a shipping deadline and form. We cannot guarantee display if any materials are sent directly to the Palace.
  • Webcasting: Those interested will have the option of webcasting their presentation for an additional fee. More details available shortly.
  • BIO Investor Forum Presentation Title Slide: Please feel free to download this PowerPoint and use it for your presentation, although it is not requried.

Selection Process

The 12th Annual BIO Investor Forum features a mix of later-stage and emerging private companies, early-stage public companies, and patient advocacy groups from around the globe. Companies selected to present focus on biotechnology therapeutics, as opposed to those exclusively developing medical devices or platform technologies. In order to qualify for the Discovery Track, companies must be at the Seed or Series A financing stage with under $25M raised to date, and working toward bringing a molecule or molecular diagnostic into the clinic. (Final qualificiations are made by BIO.)
