The World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology will host sessions for company CEOs or COOs to make formal 25-minute presentations on their technology development and business models to an elite audience of investors and analysts. These sessions will be separate from the breakout tracks and are meant to spur investment in companies seeking to raise money.

CEOs and COOs from emerging industrial biotechnology companies seeking investment and partnering opportunities will present their new technologies, accomplishments, milestones, value proposition, and business case. The presenting companies will cover advanced biofuels, renewable chemical platforms, and biomass conversion technologies to cheap and sustainable sugar sourcing.

Investor Panel Discussion

An investor discussion panel will kick off the investor sessions. The investor discussion panel is comprised of leading investors who will discuss investment opportunities and funding sources to help you identify the right funding for your clean tech business.

Presenting Company Profiles

Agrivida
Agrivida is developing proprietary crops and processes to transform the economics of producing renewable chemicals, fuels, and bioproducts from non-food cellulosic biomass. The company's patented approach is designed to provide an integrated solution for delivering the lowest-cost sugars that are essential for industrial bioproducts.

American Science and Technology Corporation
American Science and Technology is a full-service company engaged in the research, development, fabrication, deployment, and commercialization of products. Committed to providing common sense solutions to difficult scientific, technical, and manufacturing challenges with national significance, AST also promotes commercial applications of emerging technologies, particularly with regards to the renewable energy industry.

Benson Hill Biosystems, Inc.
Benson Hill Biosystems, Inc. is an agricultural biotechnology company dedicated to delivering substantial production gains to the agriculture sector by advancing biotech-based traits to increase intrinsic yield, principally by enhancing photosynthetic efficiency and carbon fixation.

Biométhodes
Biométhodes is a non-food biomass bio-refinery technology developer, enabling a real sustainable biofuel and biochemical economy thanks to its unique process producing inhibitors-free, biocompatible sugars along with high quality lignin in an economically and environmentally viable manner.

CO2Solutions
CO2 Solutions is the leader in the field of enzymatic CO2 capture.  CO2 Solution’s patented technology allows for the efficient capture of CO2 from large stationary emissions sources such as coal-fired power plants and aluminum refineries, while leveraging existing solvent-based gas scrubbing approaches already known to industry.

TerViva
Terviva has created an agriculture-based system to produce bio-products: chemicals, energy, organic fertilizers, and animal feed. By accelerating the commercialization time of a novel tree crop from decades to only a few years, they are solving two problems: the increasing amount of non-arable land and the demand for sustainably produced bio-products - simultaneously.

Airex Energy
Airex Energy is a world leader in the development of biomass torrefaction technology. Our patented CarbonFX process allows for the production of biocoal, a carbon-neutral material that has the potential to replace bituminous coal in combustion, filtration and metallurgical applications.

Evolva
Evolva’s mission is to discover and provide innovative, sustainable ingredients for health, nutrition and wellness.Evolva uses biosynthetic and evolutionary technologies to create and optimize small molecule compounds and their production routes.

Forelight, Inc.
ForeLight has developed the fastest, most efficient photobioreactor on the planet. They have created a highly efficient, cost-effective system that will be a valuable resource for existing industries – even as it opens the door for new applications. Because the photobioreactor can rapidly bring on new strains, and support multiple strains living together, it can provide biomass for research and development, medicine, and other highly specialized applications.

Global Bioenergies S.A.
Global Bioenergies is developing a unique process to produce isobutene biologically from renewable resources. Isobutene, a hydrocarbon currently obtained exclusively from fossil oil, is one of the key building blocks of the petrochemical industry.
