New Orleans shows the signs of a city reborn from the destruction brought on by Hurricane Katrina.  The changes in the city’s infrastructure and building projects have certainly been among them.  The city reached a  milestone its renaissance when the New Orleans BioInnovation Center (NOBIC) opened for business.

BioMalaysia 2011 and 2011 Pacific Rim Summit on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy were held jointly in Kuala Lumpur Nov. 21-23.

The 2011 Pacific Rim Summit on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy, to be held Nov. 21-23, 2011, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre with the BioMalaysia 2011 Conference & Exhibition, will present two morning plenary sessions, featuring panels of high-level executives from international biobased product manufacturers.
