If you are a member of one of our partner organizations, NABC or BIOTECanada, you are eligible for the Member Rate at the 2008 World Congress. If you are a member of either of these organizations and would like to register at the reduced rate, please email worldcongress@bio.org to obtain a code with instructions on how to use it when registering online.
If you are a government or academic affiliate (or personnel) who plans to register, you are eligible for the reduced rate above; you will need a registration code as well to receive this rate, please email worldcongress@bio.org with your complete contact information, including title and affiliation in order to receive the discount registration code with instructions.
Confirmed speakers will be given the discounted speaker rate and registration instructions when their proposals are accepted. If you have submitted a speaking proposal, please wait to register until after your proposal has been accepted or declined (no later than January 17, 2008).
- Registration fee includes access to all sessions, luncheons and evening receptions.
- Photo ID (driver's license or passport) and business card required to pick up your conference credentials on-site.
Your company must be a BIO member in good standing on or before April 27, 2008, to receive the BIO Member Rate.
Registration Instructions
You may Register Online - Just follow the instructions below:
- After the conference description please click on "Register"
- Login or create new account (Enter your e-mail address and password if you have attended previous BIO events and know your login information. If you have attended events before but do not remember your password, click on "Forgot password?" to have your login information emailed to you. If neither of these options is applicable, register as a new user.)
- Now you may select if you would like to participate in Business Partnering at World Congress. To go to the next page select "Click here to continue registration"
- You will see the default price of $1150 ($850 for members) displayed. Click "Add to Cart" (The system will automatically recognize if you are a member or non-member)
- Edit how your name will appear on your badge (if necessary), then click "Continue"
- If you have a coupon code please enter in the BIO coupon code field and click "Update Cart"
- You may now click on the "Checkout" button
- Verify "Bill To" and "Ship To" addresses & enter in payment information
- Click "Place my Order"

Cancellation and Substitution Policy
Your registration may be transferred to a member of your organization up to COB EST April 17, 2008. Request for payment transfer must be made by the person whose registration is being transferred to the new registrant. Cancellations received in writing by worldcongress@bio.org on or before COB EST March 10, 2008 will be refunded, less a $195 administrative fee. No refunds will be made available after this date. In case of conference cancellation, BIO's liability is limited to refund of the conference registration fee only. BIO reserves the right to alter this program without prior notice.
Letters of Invitation
If you are in need of a letter of invitation from the conference organizer, please contact BIO at worldcongress@bio.org. Please include your name, title, affiliation, and full contact information including address, phone, fax, and email. If available, please attach a CV to your formal request.

Badge Policy
Name badges will be distributed during on-site registration. BIO asks that for security purposes attendees display their badges at all conference events. Those without current and appropriate registration badges will not be allowed into any World Congress activities.
