Mauro Gregorio is Director New Business and Hydrocarbons Alternative Sources. In this role, he is responsible for Next Generation Olefins, systemic hedges (coal bed methane), Coal to Olefins and alternative feedstocks.
Gregorio joined Dow in 1984 and has served in many different management functions in R&D, Commercial, Supply Chain, Marketing and Business at Dow locations in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and United States. In his last job, he had global responsibility for the Polycarbonate, ABS, SAN and ETP Compounds business for Dow, and was in charge of developing and implementing the long term strategy for these same business units.
In his over 20 years at Dow, Gregorio's accomplishments include the reshaping of the Global ETP business strategy, several marketing projects for high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) in Latin America, and the redesign of the Latin America supply chain organization for Plastics.
Mauro is a Chemical Engineer from Escola de Engenharia Maua - Brazil with an MBA from Northwood University in the USA.
