Pradip Mukerji, Ph.D. is currently the Group Manager, Strategic Expansion and Volwiler Research Fellow for Abbott Nutrition Division of Abbott Laboratories in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, Dr. Mukerji is an Adjunct Professor at the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ohio University. Prior to joining Abbott Nutrition Division of Abbott Laboratories, Mukerji was a Senior Research Scientist of R&D in the Monsanto Company located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Mukerji's areas of expertise are with biotechnology, biochemistry, immunology, metabolism, and microbiology. Mukerji is an inventor in 40 US patents and numerous patent applications in his field of expertise. Additionally, he is an author in over 40 peer-reviewed publications and numerous review articles. He is considered an expert in the field of molecular biology and metabolism and has been a keynote speaker in many US and international conferences and symposiums related to this field.

Dr. Mukerji graduated with a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Michigan/Wayne State University School of Medicine Graduate Program. He then went on to do a post-doctoral study in molecular biology of antibiotic metabolism at University of California, San Diego in the laboratory of a key founder of Genentech, Inc. After his time in San Diego, Mukerji joined Oregon State University as a faculty in the Department of Plant Pathology and conducted research in metabolism of plants in response to stress-inducing molecules. Subsequently, he joined the Corporate Research Group in Monsanto Company to identify and develop natural bioactive molecules for agricultural and pharmaceutical uses.
