Armenia Article 15 - In Armenia at present there are no barriers to access to genetic resources providing that they do not belong to rare or endangered species.
Article 16 - In 1999 the National Assembly approved the Law on Protection of Plant Breeding Achievements, which regulates relationships related to the creation of new plant breeds, their legal protection and use.

Australia Article 15 - Regulations are being developed under section 301 (Access to Biological Resources) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act of 1999.
Article 19 - In 1999 the Government established Biotechnology Australia and the Federal Government’s Biotechnology Ministerial Council to coordinate Government biotechnology activities and to develop a national biotechnology strategy.
