BIO Announces Cleantech Investor Speakers for 2014 World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology

Emerging companies to showcase their ground-breaking achievements

Washington, D.C. (April 21, 2014) – Investment and partnership opportunities are critical for early stage companies to successfully bring products and ideas to market.  A selective group of CEOs and COOs from emerging industrial biotechnology companies will present new technologies, accomplishments, and business cases during the Clean Tech Investor Sessions at the BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology, the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) announced today.  The World Congress will be held May 12-15, 2014, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. 

“The Clean Tech Investor Sessions at BIO’s World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology will help facilitate these much need investment opportunities for emerging companies while granting investors a first-hand look into some of the most cutting-edge technology,” said Brent Erickson, executive vice president of BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section. “Innovative industrial biotechnology companies were selected to participate in this program based on their breakthrough clean technologies, bio-based consumer product strategies, and extensive intellectual property coverage.”
