WASHINGTON, D.C. (December 11, 2006) -- Media registration is now available for the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) CEO & Investor Conference 2007, to be held February 12-14 at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York City.  The meeting is co-hosted by Rodman and Renshaw, Jeffries, and CIBC.

Now in its ninth year, the BIO CEO & Investor Conference will focus on the central theme “Investing in Biotechnology: The Value, The Risks, The Rewards.”  Senior biotechnology executives, institutional investors, industry analysts, venture capitalists, investment bankers and other industry executives are encouraged to participate in the countless opportunities to shape the future investment landscape of the biotechnology industry presented in this forum.

“This meeting is an invaluable opportunity for senior level executives to develop new opportunities for financing and explore key issues and opportunities facing our industry during the next few years,” stated Alan Eisenberg, Executive Vice President, Emerging Companies and Business Development.

The three-day conference will feature a wide range of focus sessions, over 175 corporate presentations, issue-oriented roundtables, and one-on-one investor meetings.  Evening receptions will provide an ideal setting for networking with industry leaders in the investment and biotechnology fields.
