BIO to Host New Clean Tech Investor Sessions
Brent Erickson, executive vice president for BIO’s Industrial and Environmental Section, stated, “BIO is proud to announce the first ever investor sessions at the World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology & Bioprocessing. Deployment of industrial biotechnology for advanced biofuels, biobased products, and chemicals made using renewable platforms can restore U.S. economic competitiveness in the sector, contribute to renewed, sustainable economic growth, and create or save jobs in the sector. Executives from emerging industrial biotechnology companies seeking investment and partnering opportunities will present their new technologies, accomplishments, milestones, value propositions and business cases for advanced biofuels and renewable chemical platforms. Innovative industrial biotechnology companies were selected to participate in this program based on their breakthrough clean technologies, bio-based consumer product strategies, and extensive intellectual property coverage.”
