BIO President to Give Keynote Address at Business and Investment Conference

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - May 7, 2002 - Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) President Carl B. Feldbaum will address the key political and regulatory issues that affect the biotechnology industry in a keynote luncheon address at The Wall Street Transcript’s Second Annual Biotechnology Industry Conference on May 9 in New York.

Feldbaum joins other industry executives and financial professionals at the meeting, which will be held at the Princeton Club, 15 West 43rd Street, New York, N.Y. Conference attendees will receive a comprehensive assessment of the state of the industry with specific emphasis on transgenic technology, vaccine technology development, bioterrorism research, and new financing and business trends.
