Media Advisory: BIO and Battelle to Present Findings of Comprehensive Bioscience Industry Study

WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 2, 2004) — In connection with the BIO 2004 International Convention in San Francisco next week, the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and the Battelle Memorial Institute will release a comprehensive report detailing bioscience initiatives in all 50 U.S. states and how each state is addressing the elements needed to support technology-based economies.

 

WHAT: BIO and the Battelle Memorial Institute will release the new report, "Laboratories of Innovation: State Bioscience Initiatives 2004" providing a state-by-state breakdown of initiatives and developments in all bioscience sectors, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices and equipment, research and testing, and agricultural feedstock and chemicals.
