Keynote Speakers for Livestock Biotech Summit

Justin ChestnutThe BIO Livestock Biotech Summit will kick off on Wednesday, September 19th, with our Keynote Speaker Justin Chesnut of Elanco Animal Health.  His message on Using Technology to Feed the World will speak to the importance of using science innovations to feed a growing worldwide population and why the work of those in agriculture biotechnology is so important for the future.  Mr. Chesnut is currently the Director of the Poultry Business Unit in Greenfield, Indiana, but has held positions with Elanco throughout the United States. He also has a background in swine, cattle, and as a agronomist.

Jon HaglerOn Friday, September 21st, Dr. Jon Hagler, Missouri's Director of Agriculture since 2009 will be speaking at 12 noon.  Dr. Hagler has aggressively worked to promote agriculture's importance to all Missourians. His energized passion for agriculture has touched more Missourian's lives than ever before.  Dr. Hagler has raised agriculture's profile by emphasizing the importance of this industry and Ag-related jobs to the state's overall economy and its relevance to every consumer. His speech will cover The Future of Agriculture.
