Katherine Dunphy-Guzman is a member of the Systems Research & Analysis Department at Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore, CA. She is currently working on projects in the fields of energy, risk, and homeland security. One of her most recent projects was the joint Sandia-General Motors 90 Billion Gallon Study. She holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from UC Berkeley and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
