Abstract: Butanol is now considered as a better biofuel than ethanol and a lot of companies are currently trying to develop a competitive bioprocess for its production at large scale. This panel will pull together companies working to commercialize Biobutanol and will focus the discussion on the challenges for the development an Industrial process for the production of Biobutanol using Clostridia. This will cover substrate utilization, strains engineering as well as new fermentation processes and innovative separation technologies.
