Who will you find at the Global Event for Biotechnology?
When you attend BIO, you'll find thousands of the most innovative and powerful thought leaders from global companies across the industry at the 2012 BIO International Convention. One key element of the Convention is the BIO Business Forum. In 2011, the BIO Business Forum hosted more than 2,400 companies for 21,000+ partnering meetings. The BIO Business Forum hosted these individual meetings in private 6 x 9 rooms.
What’s new this year?
First, Exhibitors can schedule 25-minute meetings in their exhibition booths or pavillions via the One-on-One PartneringTM system. Access to the BIO One-on-One Partnering system provides exhibitors with the opportunity to schedule invaluable meetings at their exhibitor booth during the Convention and expand their connections and exhibit leads. The expansion will also provide opportunities to meet with other exhibitors as well as allow flexibility on meeting locations now that exhibitor booths are added to the BIO One-on-One Partnering System.
Second, BIO conveniently placed the BIO Business Forum right in the middle of all the action on the BIO Exhibition. In 2012, all the networking, business deals, browsing exhibitors and partnering meetings will happen on one level in Boston.
Through granting access to a greater number of companies and potential partners within the BIO One-on-One PartneringTM system as well as providing greater flexibility in scheduling meetings and meeting locations, we expect to host more than 4,000 companies for 25,000+ partnering meetings.
Facilitate a year’s worth of business meetings in 4 days
Attendees and exhibitors will have increased flexibility in meeting locations and scheduling access with the highest quality attendees. Through our online partnering tool, those who register for the BIO Business Forum will have access to company profiles and calendars as well as the ability to request meetings across the 4-day event. They will benefit from the intuitive navigation, innovative message center, and a robust search.
In addition, we are expanding our exhibiting and partnering hours to better serve companies and attendees, so plan for business to kick off promptly at 8:00 a.m. in the BIO Business Forum and 12 noon in the BIO Exhibition on Monday, June 18.
