Partnering is Key to Success at 2017 BIO Investor Forum

September 21, 2017
The 2017 BIO Investor Forum is less than a month away, and BIO’s One-on-One Partnering™ system is poised to break records yet again! The BIO Investor Forum—October   17-18 in San Francisco—is the prime event for emerging private & public companies to connect with prospective investors to make the deals that fuel our industry. BIO scheduled over 2,100 meetings last year, and we have reserved additional meeting space this year to accommodate burgeoning demand.

Partnering activity is at a record high, with 40% more requests in the One-on-One Partnering™ system than at this time last year. In addition to Outlook/Gmail integration, the system features a free mobile app for iPhone and Android that allows you to send meeting or  reschedule meetings from your phone in only a few taps.

Our data shows that those who log in and send requests early tend to have more partnering meetings, so you’ll want to be active in the system as soon as possible.

Did you know?

The BIO Investor Forum can be your bridge to free partnering access for JPM Week in January. I will be leading an Information Session on this exciting industry service during the BIO Investor Forum (details to be announced soon), so please drop in for a live demonstration. Those who join the session will receive expedited registration for our JPM week partnering system. You can use the system to schedule meetings in your own space for free. If you are looking for space, you can make a reservation for BIO’s dedicated meeting area at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis at very affordable rates.

Don’t miss next week’s “From Founding to Exit: A Life Science Business Perspective” webinar, which considers how executive teams can integrate business and science to overcome stumbling blocks and achieve results for a successful exit. Register here.

There is still time to register for the BIO Investor Forum, but act fast, as meeting scheduling begins in just two weeks and partnering activity is at a fever pitch! If you did not catch last year’s popular web panel on how to pitch to in-licensors and investors, please check out the recording at

See you in San Francisco!
