Sciad Newswire and BIO form media partnership for the World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology

July 14, 2015
The Sciad newswire team are delighted to be partnering with BIO to help with the 2015 World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology in Montréal. From the 19th to the 22nd of July, experts and investors in industrial biotechnology will be at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal for the world's foremost industrial technology conference. Sciad will be helping BIO to drive their media visibility, to help make sure the event is as successful as can be.

In June, Sciad attended the BIO 2015 International Convention in Philadelphia as part of the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) delegation. One of the highlights was undoubtedly a keynote presentation delivered live via video link by astronaut Scott Kelly on the International Space Station. The whole convention was crammed full of insightful speakers and networking opportunities for delegates to meet new partners and discuss new deals.

After attending such an interesting and engaging event, Sciad was keen to get involved with BIO's next event, the World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology. As such, Sciad and BIO agreed to be media partners, so that the World Congress can achieve its full potential and be as successful as such a high calibre event deserves to be.

Now the World Congress in Montréal is just around the corner, with over 1300 attendees and 300 speakers due to attend, expect to see just about every aspect of Industrial Biotechnology covered. No matter your particular interest or focus, the sheer breadth of the event means the entire field will be catered for, from biofuels to agriculture, genomics to biomaterials.

Whether you're able to attend or not, you'll be able to follow proceedings using the twitter hashtag #BIOWC15. To find out more about the event, visit www.bio.org/worldcongress.
