New York City Vaccination Requirements for All Attendees
The executive order issued by the mayor regarding vaccination requirements in New York City states that all customers, employees, and vendors are required to be vaccinated for all indoor dining at restaurants, bars, catering/event facilities, and any other indoor sit-down dining options. The executive order also applies to all fitness centers and entertainment venues, such as nightclubs.
Full Vaccination: Starting December 27, 2021, people 12 and older participating in public indoor activities will be required to show proof they have received two vaccine doses, except for those who have received the one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. These requirements-called the Key to NYC-also means employees working at these locations must be vaccinated.
Proof of vaccination may be established in multiple ways, such as a CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card, official immunization record, or CLEAR Health Pass. Learn more about the New York City Protocols and list of accepted vaccinations by clicking the links under the “Additional Resources” section.
