Threats to U.S. technology from foreign sources have been in the news recently with reports of foreign attempts to steal coronavirus research. However, concerns about foreign threats to the biotechnology have been on the U.S. government’s radar for a long time. This panel provides an opportunity to hear directly from the U.S. government about the risks and threats to the biotech industry that they are seeing, how the government is responding, and how both small and large biotechs can protect themselves from these threats.
