We have been starkly reminded that infectious disease pandemics are very costly to society - but we really knew that already and both public and private sector actors have been engaged in pandemic preparedness for decades, yet the response to COVID-19 fell short. This panel will examine the business of pandemics and how governments and other global stakeholders and industry can and must all balance their own economic needs and choices.  The panelists will describe how we can evolve our approach to the business of pandemics for better future results.
