The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us that it is possible to speed up clinical trials.  Adaptive trial designs allow the scientific community to move toward a more efficient process and for informative outcomes to be achieved with no impact on scientific rigor.  This session will explore the advances in trial design using a case study form the COVID R & D Alliance.  Panelists will discuss the opportunities with adaptive trials and ways to enhance the R & D process to ultimately get the right treatments to patients in a timely manner.
