Now more than ever, science is entering the public consciousness – from Covid-19 to climate change. In Nature’s Building Blocks, we hope to unravel the elusive nature of biotechnology, and help people see themselves in the science.
In this panel, we’ll be discussing how Nature’s Building Blocks hopes to be the accessible bridge between biotechnology and the BBC audience. We’ll be talking about public misconceptions of biotech, and how we can use powerful human stories to promote public understanding of how biotech is solving problems – from complex global issues to the innovations that shape our everyday lives across health, industry and agriculture.
