New Hope, Pennsylvania, United States
Denice Torres is a successful business executive turned entrepreneur, public board member, and podcaster who started her journey as a bathroom janitor in the steel mills of Gary, Indiana. Fueled by hell-bent determination, street smarts, and a sixth-grade sense of humor, Denice spent a year practicing law before finding her career home in the healthcare industry. At Johnson & Johnson, she rose to the ranks of President and Chief Strategy Officer and is known for leading one of the most successful turnarounds in the company’s history.

Denice has served as a keynote speaker for many Fortune 500 companies in the areas of leadership, transformations, and diversity. As a result of her work, she has received my awards and is often featured in popular media.

Wildly passionate about the power of diversity, Denice began a non-profit organization, The Mentoring Place, to provide free executive mentoring to women. As a woman who is gay, Hispanic, and mom to an incredible daughter with cerebral palsy, Denice knows the power of celebrating and leveraging differences.
Denice serves on the boards of bluebird bio, Karuna Therapeutics, Resilience, and Glaukos.

She lives in New Hope, Pennsylvania with her wife and their daughter. In her spare time, she can be found running around town with her mini goldendoodle. You can catch her podcast, Flip the Tortilla, on all major platforms.
