Dr. Bordbar has over a decade in experience in systems biology and bioinformatics applying mechanistic and statistical models to omics data. His computational predictions have led to successful pre-clinical and IRB-approved research studies. Dr. Bordbar has served as the Principal Investigator on 9 NIH SBIR grants and Michael J. Fox Foundation with a cumulative funding of ~$6.5M since 2014. He has published >30 peer-reviewed publications, with several being listed in the top 1% of cited papers in their respective fields. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. from UC San Diego, was awarded the Charles Lee Powell Foundation fellowship, and is a Gordon Scholar in engineering leadership.
