Amy Ryan, CSP

Basking Ridge, New Jersey, United States
Amy is a Senior Life Science Risk Specialist within the Chubb Risk engineering Services department. In this role she evaluates property and casualty exposures and controls for life science clients including medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, R&D operations and biotech firms. Additionally, Amy provides services to life science customers in support of their risk management programs. Prior to joining Chubb, Amy worked as a biosafety officer at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey managing safety programs for biosafety level three laboratories, including animal facilities. Amy started her health and safety career at Rutgers University overseeing laboratory and biological safety programs across the campuses including the biology, chemistry and engineering departments.

Amy earned her BS in Environmental Science from Cook College at Rutgers University. She obtained her Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in environmental and occupational health from a joint program of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and Rutgers. Amy is a Registered Biosafety Professional, Certified Safety Professional and Accredited Office Ergonomics Evaluator.
