Dan Sullivan, MBA

Dan Sullivan is Executive Director of Value Strategy and Marketing for Amgen’s General Medicine portfolio. In this role, Dan leads the development of the value materials for Amgen’s products, as well as value-added resources and programs at the therapeutic area level. Dan also leads Amgen’s Value Based Partnerships group, which spans both the General Medicine and Oncology business units.
Dan has been at Amgen for 15 years, and has held numerous leadership roles in marketing, sales, and account management. He has also played key roles in both the planning and execution of 6 different product launches, as well as representing Amgen in numerous external collaborations. Most recently, Dan led the US Value Based Partnership team, helping to establish Amgen as an industry leader in this space.
Before joining Amgen in 2005, Dan spent 6 years at Eli Lilly and Company where he held roles in corporate finance, US strategic pricing and sales leadership. Dan has a BS in Business Administration from Miami University of Ohio and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Health Sector Management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Prior to business school, he worked at KPMG Peat Marwick and The Walt Disney Company.
