BIO IMPACT is an important global ag and environment biotech conference that attracts more than 1,000 thought leaders from 30 countries. The event formerly named the BIO World Congress will continue to serve as a catalyst to the growth and business development driving the biobased economy.
Yes, but reimagined. The conference will feature timely ag and environment education programming, dynamic partnering and exhibit floor, opportunities to pitch investors and networking all week long. However, this new focus will allow the impact of biotech on our everyday lives to take center stage.
BIO IMPACT will be held Monday - Thursday, September 21- 24. Plan to arrive by Monday morning and stay through Thursday to take full advantage of the conference. (Note: The event was previously held in July and based on attendee feedback we have moved to Fall time frame).

Our tool is the first to effectively connect the environmental and agriculture sectors from more than 30 countries. 1 in 3 attendees will have more than 10 meetings scheduled when they attend BIO IMPACT. Access to BIO One-on-One Partnering is included with most registrations.

You can apply to present before you register for the conference, or vice-versa.
Yes, you can add the presentation fee to your registration. Members will pay a $300 fee while non-members will pay an additional $400 fee.
This is a great way to reach out to a global audience to increase your visibility in the biotech world, as well as create more partnering meetings with investors and executives. Presenting companies tend to receive more than twice the amount of BIO Partnering meeting requests than non-presenting companies, and end up scheduling close to twice as many meetings!
Presentations are open to all BIO IMPACT attendees including investors and 1,000 attendees from 30 countries.
The presentations will be held in a designated room located in the session rooms.
The Conference will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center. The address of the venue is 500 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601. Most events will be held at the convention center. Learn more.
Act early! All visa applicants are advised to apply for their visa as soon as travel to the United States is contemplated, and not later than 3-4 months in advance. For your convenience, you can generate a visa invitation letter populated with your information to confirm your participation and travel to BIO IMPACT in Raleigh this September. Learn More.
ESTA is an automated system that determines the eligibility of visitors to travel to the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program. The ESTA application collects the same information collected on Form I-94W. ESTA applications may be submitted anytime prior to travel, though it is recommended travelers apply when you begin preparing your travel plans.
