Participant Sensitivity: Amplifying the Voice of the Patient in Clinical Trials
Conducting a successful clinical trial for orphan and rare diseases presents unique challenges for trial sponsors and site coordinators. In addition to a small eligible population, trial participants are frequently very ill or have cognitive or mobile impairments, while trial sites are often dispersed across the globe.
