Targeting Aging Pathways To Treat Chronic Disease
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (PDT), Tuesday, June 14, 2022
Aging is the primary risk factor for many chronic conditions, and diseases of aging represent an enormous unmet clinical need. Today’s convergence of basic research and technological progress enables the development of novel human therapeutics that treat chronic disease by targeting the fundamental mechanisms of aging. In this session, panelists will engage in a wide-ranging conversation encompassing the challenge and promise of identifying key longevity mechanisms as targets for novel drugs and bringing these drugs to market to treat disease in new ways. The session will be of broad interest to an audience interested in serving as investors, founders, drug developers, or researchers in the emerging field of longevity-based therapeutics.
