Fireside Chat: The Accelerated Approval Pathway and the Importance to Patients

1:45 PM - 2:45 PM (PDT), Tuesday, June 14, 2022 ・ Session Room 7B

The Accelerated Approval pathway is a lifeline for patients who have severe life-threatening diseases, including those with rare diseases, cancer, or HIV/AIDS. Recent efforts to limit patient access to these therapies could deprive patients of access to important therapy options approved by the FDA as safe and efficacious. These therapies provide treatment for patients with unmet medical needs, and many of these patients have limited or no current treatment options available to them. Join the discussion to learn more about the pathway and the impact these therapies have had on patients’ lives.
