The big challenge of today's drug development is insolubility of drug: >80% drug candidates do not dissolved in water, which lead to low bioavailability problem. Our physical nanotechnology improves drug solubility by reducing particle size to nanometer size. Unlike other chemical nanotechnologies (liposomes, nanocrystals, nanoemulsions, etc.), we add no chemicals to generate drug nanoparticles. Using physical vapor deposition principle, we evaporate drug and capture the vapor phase drug as nanoparticles on inactive ingredient that can be easily formulated into various dosage forms. Other chemical nanodrugs are delivered as injectable or oral solution due to surface energy of nanodrug but our nanodrug can be formulated into any dosage forms including solid oral, IV, eye drops, topical, or nasal dosage forms; convenient and portable drug products. One example of this is inhaler version of Remdesivir for COVID therapy. Manufacturing cost is low and development time is fast. Our NanoTransformer technology can be scaled to commercial production. We improve bioavailability of drugs through the scalable nanotechnology and deliver it as a portable drug product.
