Bhash Parasuraman

Dr. Parasuraman currently serves as Vice President, Patient and Health Impact, Internal Medicine Rare Disease BUs at Pfizer. Prior to this position she was Vice President, HEOR Emerging Markets and Established Markets. Before joining Pfizer, Dr. Parasuraman served as Global Payer Evidence Leader, Global Medicines Development at AstraZeneca. Her research focuses on neuroscience and providing guidance to division and hospital leaders to develop and execute strategies and tactics to grow and improve neuroscience services. She has helped create neuroscience workgroups comprised of operators, doctors, and other clinicians to develop program guides and best practices for neuroscience services, including the development of enterprise-wide neuroscience subspecialty lines (i.e., epilepsy, spine, etc.), along with supporting growth strategies, clinical objectives, education, and research, while also increasing physician engagement and alignment. Dr. Parasuraman received a BS from Birla Institute of Technology, Mersa and a PhD from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
