Martin R. Schiller was educated at Hofstra University and Utah State University. He has been on the faculty at Johns Hopkins University, University of Connecticut Health Center, and now at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. His research has impacted the fields of Neuroscience, Bioinformatics, and HIV resulting in 65 publications supported mostly by 12 research grants from the National Institutes of Health. He has received a number of awards, produced a suite of bioinformatics tools, and is currently involved in commercialization of his research. He is the CEO of Heligenics and the Founding and Executive Director of the Nevada Institute of Personalized Medicine.
