Matthew Kinn

Matt Kinn currently serves as Senior Vice President - Business Development and Corporate Initiatives at Recursion, a clinical-stage biotechnology company industrializing drug discovery through the creation of one of the world’s largest proprietary biological and chemical datasets and use of sophisticated machine learning algorithms. In his role, Matt is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and executing value-additive collaborations that help Recursion advance its mission, including Recursion's recent collaborations with Bayer and Roche/Genentech. Additionally, Matt is the leader of Recursion's Partnership Anchor, which oversees the strategic direction and ensures delivery on Recursion's partnership commitments.

Prior to joining Recursion, Matt was a principal in the Boston Consulting Group's healthcare and technology practice areas where he advised clients on a broad range of strategic decisions including portfolio optimization, product launch, and M&A. Matt began his career at UBS Investment Bank in New York where he supported M&A and capital market transactions across multiple industries.
Matt holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. and B.S. from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.
