Eddie Wang Rodriguez

Eddie Wang Rodriguez is a co-founder and partner at Teal Ventures, an early stage venture capital fund focused on disruptive innovation in healthcare technology, including, but not limited to, digital/mobile health and medical devices. Prior to joining Teal Ventures, Eddie was a partner at several national law firms and a nationally recognized corporate attorney in the venture capital and M&A fields. In 25 years of practice, Eddie has represented countless startup and emerging growth companies throughout their life cycles and numerous private and public companies in financing and M&A transactions, in industries including healthcare, medical devices, technology, fintech, ecommerce and telecommunications. Eddie has closed over 300 M&A and financing transactions.

In addition, Eddie has co-founded several companies in the medical device and technology areas. Eddie has had several exits, including the sale of Ivera Medical to 3M. Eddie has also been an active angel investor in early stage companies in various industries.

Eddie sits on the board of several private companies, is an advisor to numerous other emerging growth companies and an advisor to several emerging growth incubators. Eddie also continues to advise companies on M&A transactions and strategies as well as corporate governance matters.

Eddie received his JD from Stanford Law School, where he was the Editor-In-Chief of the Stanford Journal of International Law and the Articles Editor of the Stanford Law and Policy Review. He holds a B.A. from the UCLA.
