Josh Seidenfeld, JD, MBA, BS

Josh Seidenfeld represents companies at all stages of their lifecycle, from startups to public companies with a focus on software, internet and healthcare-related technology companies (both consumer and enterprise). He has represented issuers and underwriters in public offerings, has substantial experience representing both buyers and sellers in M&A and both issuers and investors in private company financings. Josh also regularly advises his clients on general corporate issues, securities matters and implications of proposed business transactions.
Josh is a contributing editor of Cooley GO, an online resource with tools, forms, guidance and data for entrepreneurs and emerging companies.
Over the past two years, Josh has advised his clients in 100+ private/public financings and 30 mergers, acquisitions, spinoffs or asset sale transactions, with a combined deal value of more than $1.5 billion. Recent transactions include:
Prior to joining Cooley, Josh held several operating roles with early stage pre-revenue startups to multinational organizations. Most recently, he served as director of business development, strategic initiatives and corporate counsel for Practice Fusion, a venture-backed healthcare IT company.
