Carolyn Hickey

Carolyn Hickey, Executive Director, Government Affairs & Policy at Sarepta Therapeutics is responsible for developing and implementing federal and state strategies to advance coverage and reimbursement for Sarepta’s genetically based therapies for rare diseases. Prior to joining Sarepta in 2018, Carolyn held the position of Senior Director, Global Pricing & Reimbursement, Global Government Affairs at Alexion Pharmaceuticals. In this role, she was responsible for US public payer policy and reimbursement issues for the company’s portfolio and advanced innovative pricing and reimbursement strategies to optimize patient access to treatments globally. Prior to Alexion, Carolyn worked in consulting, most recently at Avalere Health, where she held roles of increasing responsibilities to support pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers with product commercialization and reimbursement strategies.
