Yanhong Lin was born in Shanghai, China. She founded CTIC in 2011 after nearly 2 decades of working for fortune 100 companies in various finance and business development roles. She led Sun Microsystems’ (a $12 billion-dollar annual revenue company, now Oracle) Financial Planning and Analysis worldwide forecast prior to founding CTIC.

In establishing CTIC, her vision was to engage companies in mutually beneficial cross-border activities to create business and social benefits. During the last decade Yanhong and her team have successfully helped more than 20 clients achieve their cross-border objectives. As of 2022, three client companies have become publicly traded companies.
