Yanhong Lin

San Jose, California, United States
Yanhong Lin was born in Shanghai, China. She founded CTIC in 2011 after nearly 2 decades of working for fortune 100 companies in various finance and business development roles. She led Sun Microsystems’ (a $12 billion-dollar annual revenue company, now Oracle) Financial Planning and Analysis worldwide forecast prior to founding CTIC.

In establishing CTIC, her vision was to engage companies in mutually beneficial cross-border activities to create business and social benefits. During the last decade Yanhong and her team have successfully helped more than 20 clients achieve their cross-border objectives. As of 2022, three client companies have become publicly traded companies. Yanhong continues to serve as an advisor to several biotech companies and is also an advisor to California LIfe Sciences’ FAST program.

Yanhong has also served as a committee member of the MIT Club of Northern California Energy and Environment, as an advisor to the Stanford Precourt Institute for Energy, and as Chair of the VC Taskforce China SIG (Special Interest Group).

CTIC’s annual JPM Cross-Border Investments Summit has consistently included over 100 CEOs and over 200 investors. It is the only cross-border event supported by major Chinese investment firms for each of the last 5 years. Her close relationships with the investment and entrepreneurial communities in China have provided her with insights into the investment environment and deal sources in China.

Yanhong received her BA from Western Illinois University and her MBA from University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
