Herbert Pang, MBA;PhD

Herb Pang is an Expert Statistical Scientist in the Methods, Collaboration, and Outreach group of PD Data Sciences, Roche/Genentech. His research interests include real-world evidence (RWE) for drug development and the design and analysis of clinical trials. Herb obtained his MBA from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2016, PhD in Biostatistics from Yale University in 2008, and BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Oxford University in
2002. He was formerly a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong. Herb is currently a PI on an FDA grant under the NIH U01 mechanism on RWE for Regulatory Decision-Making. He is also an Editor of the ASA Biopharmaceutical Report in 2022 and a member of the ASA Biopharmaceutical section RWE working group.
