Michelle Li currently serves as Associate Vice President and Head, Corporate Development and Commercial BD with responsibilities for corporate development and commercial partnering activities for Global Pharma, Global Vaccine, the Americas region, and oversight of Global Competitive Intelligence at Merck. Michelle and her team led the successful execution of over 50 transactions, including the acquisitions of Acceleron and Pandion as well as the tax-free spinoff of Organon in 2022.
Michelle began her career with Merck in 1999 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in both Business Development and Finance. She holds a Ph.D. in Physiology from Penn State University College of Medicine, and an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
