Shira Strongin

ORISE FELLOW, CDER, OMP, THE FOOD & DRUG AMINISTRATION
Shira Strongin is a graduate of the George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs and will be continuing onto get her Master’s at Georgetown University’s Biomedical Graduate Education program. Strongin has a passion for advocacy and research in healthcare due to her own experience as a rare disease patient. She has channeled this in work as the Founder and President of the non-profit Sick Chicks, which is dedicated to uniting and empowering women with varying illnesses and disabilities. Strongin has been a member of the CURE ID team for over three years and is proud to play a role in its expansion into rare diseases along with obtaining patient reported outcomes.
