Michael Schrader is the founding CEO of Vaxess, a DARPA, NIH, NSF, and venture-backed company developing a suite of immunotherapies and vaccines on the MIMIX Smart Release Platform. In addition to winning both the Harvard New Venture Competition and the Harvard President's Challenge, the company was recently chosen as the 2019 Xconomy Award Winner for "Innovation at the Intersection".

Prior to founding Vaxess, Michael spent time at Google, Toyota, and Honda R&D where he helped bring a wide range of products to market and earned fifteen patents for innovative new designs. Michael received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
