Lessons from the Pandemic: Clinical Trials and Access to Them

The COVID-19 pandemic has made the continuation of clinical trials for non-COVID-19 related treatments a significant challenge for patients. This challenge in turn has placed much needed pressure on the clinical trial ecosystem in order to re-evaluate ways in which patient-centric clinical trials are conducted. This panel will discuss challenges they have observed around the continuity of clinical trials and patient data collection during the pandemic, ways in which innovation is being leveraged to address those challenges, and lessons learned that we should adopt moving forward.
