DEPUTY HEALTH POLICY DIRECTOR, U.S. SENATE COMMITTEE ON HEALTH, EDUCATION, LABOR, AND PENSIONS, OFFICE OF SENATOR RICHARD BURR (R-NC)
Rachel Portman is the Deputy Health Policy Director for Ranking Member Richard Burr on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee in the United States Senate. Rachel previously served as Health Policy Assistant for Senator Burr where she handled the Senator's full health care portfolio as a member of the Senate HELP Committee, Senate Committee on Finance, and Senate Special Committee on Aging. Prior to her time in the U.S. Senate, Rachel was a consultant in the Health Solutions practice in the Forensic and Litigation Consulting Segment at FTI Consulting in Washington, D.C. Rachel earned her Bachelors of Science in Policy Analysis & Management from Cornell University and is in the process of earning a Master in Health Care Delivery Science degree from Dartmouth.
