Call for Proposals is Now Open

We are still accepting applications for Start-Up Stadium and Company and Technical Presentations.

The BIO World Congress provides an unparalleled platform for innovative thinkers to share their ideas, technologies and industry expertise. Proposals should reflect current trends, ideas and discoveries within one of the six program themes below. 

All proposals must be submitted through BIO’s online Program Portal system. For more detailed information and a step-by-step guide on how to submit a session or speaker proposal, download the Session Proposal Guide.

Company and Technical Presentations 

Company and Technical Presentations are short yet detailed, fast moving and concise presentations given by a senior level executive or an academician who is an expert in the field of industrial biotechnology. These presentations showcase technology development, process improvements, product pipeline, R&D activities, technology transfer opportunities, business objectives, building partnerships, and potential investment goals. Presentations are 13 minutes long, including a brief introduction and Q&A with the audience. Applications must be submitted by April 5, 2019 at 5:00 PM EST. Learn more about Company and Technical Presentations


Start-Up Stadium @ BIO World Congress

Start-Up Stadium provides emerging GreenTech companies the opportunity to present in a formal setting to investors, analysts and strategists across the value chain. We’ll have a panel of judges, prizes awarded and more. Share new technologies and value proposition during formal 8-minute presentations followed by a 6-minute Q&A  Start-Up Stadium Applications must be submitted by April 5, 2019 at 5:00PM EST.  Learn more about Start-Up Stadium @ BIO World Congress. 

 

Breakout Program Panel Sessions 

Sessions consist of a panel in which speakers interact and present differing viewpoints on a debatable topic from one of the six diverse program tracks below. A moderator will facilitate formal Q & A with the audience and panelists for a minimum of 15 minutes after the presentations. Application Now Closed. Breakout Program will be announced in March 2019.
