Plenary Program

The 2017 plenary sessions will feature a line-up of leading industry executives from key industrial biotech sectors. This year's plenary program will feature executives from the biofuels, household and personal care, and airline industries discussing technology breakthroughs, business partnerships and sustainability initiatives at a global scale.


Workshops are designed for specific and focused discussions on business or technical information, led by our BIO World Congress sponsors. Workshops are held on Tuesday from 10:30 am to 11:45 am and open to all attendees with a full conference registration.

GreenTech Investor Sessions 

During the BIO GreenTech Investor Sessions held on Monday from 8:30 am- 4:00 pm, emerging companies covering advanced biofuels and renewable chemical platforms will share their new technologies and value propositions through formal 15 minute presentations to an elite audience of investors and analysts. We are still accepting GreenTech Investor Session proposals until June 1, 2017 at 5:00PM EST  -  Submit Your Propsal Now

Exhibit Hall

As the hub of the conference, the Exhibit Hall will be open during all conference hours. Showcasing the latest in technology and innovation, the BIO World Congress exhibit hall combines exhibitors, poster sessions and partnering all in one space. BIO One-on-One Partnering™ meetings, continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, poster presentations and networking receptions will be hosted among the 2017 exhibitors.
