The most efficient way to do business without traveling all over the world. In 2015, the BIO World Congress hosted 1,400 partnering meetings among 720 companies in 3 days - a 40% increase from 2014!


What can I do with Partnering?

  • Communicate directly with prospective investors and senior business and scientific management executives.

How can I participate in Partnering and learn more about the Partnering System?

There are three ways you can participate in One-on-One Partnering and learn more about the System:

  3. Host Meetings in a Dedicated Partnering Suite Purchase a dedicated meeting space and maximize visibility in the BIO Partnering area.


When are Partnering meetings scheduled?

Monday, April 18 - Thursday, April 20. Partnering opens at 8am  on Monday, so plan your travel and housing accordingly. 


When does Partnering open?

Partnering for #BIOWC16 will open in March.  Start planning who you want to meet now.


How do I register for Partnering?

  1. All registration types provide Partnering Access. If you want dedicated, private meeting space for your meetings all week, contact our Sales team today

  2. Receive login credentials (may take up to 48 hours) and instructions on how to set your password. During that time we are ensuring you are set up in the system under the right company and with the correct colleagues. 

  3. Add to your safe senders list--this is where your login credentials will be sent from.

  4. Once the Partnering System opens in March, the first step to becoming active int he system is setting up your profile. Just like dating, you want to put your best foot forward. Check out some tips for setting up your profile and sending messages. 

  5. Mark your availability in your calendar. The highest volume of messaging will take place in March and April, so make sure your calendar is up to date. 

  6. Familiarize yourself with the schedule and locations of #BIOWC16 events. Review the list of breakout sessions, plenaries, workshops and GreenTech Investor sessions prior to arriving in San Diego. 


5 Tips for Successful Partnering

  • Fill out your profile, focus on the opportunities you have to offer

  • Mark when you are available to take meetings on your calendar. Make as much time available as you can

  • Search for companies you would like to meet, or collaborate with your team to do so, and send them tailored meeting requests. You can continue to message companies after the conference too.

  • Accept, reject or otherwise manage your incoming meetings requests, or do so collaboratively with your team

  • Repeat steps 3 and 4 every few days since new companies join and send requests regularly.
